NITEL gets new CEO
As part of the strategies aimed at repositioning the
ailing Nigerian Telecommunications Plc ( NITEL), the
company’s board of directors has announced a new helmsman
to steer the course of the company.
A statement by Adebayo Ojo, Head, Corporate Relations of
Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp), a
core investor in NITEL named Mr. Kevin Caruso as the
substantive MD of the company.
Caruso is an international telecommunications executive
with over 20years management experience with AT&T, a US
based company and has extensive strategic planning,
marketing and sales experience in a wide variety of
organisations including both incumbent carriers and start
up competitors in investors and traditional wire line
business said Ojo.
