VoIP World Africa 2005 holds in Johannesburg
Value Added Network Service Providers (VANS) looking to do
business on the African continent have a window to explore
the vast market for voice over internet protocol at the
VoIP World Africa 2005. The event is to hold in
Johannesburg May 8 to 11, 2006.
“The choice of technology is vast, and deciding which
technology you should implement is a daunting task. There
is however, a common meeting place for you where contacts
can be made, experiences shared and alliances forged,”
said organizers of the event Terrapinn.
VoIP World Africa 2005 will bring together director level
speakers and delegates from service providers, telecomm
operators, corporate end-users and technology developers.
The conference will push forward the business model and
technology covering the key challenges in the industry,
drawing on the expertise of top executives and key
officials.
It is the only event targeted at VANS prospecting for
business in Africa’s fast growing telecom sector. South
African and international speakers aim to assist all
attendees solve problems through discussions and
interaction around themes including the new legislation,
competition and the convergence of voice and data.
“This is an ideal forum for you to network, evaluate, do
business and learn best practice,” organisers said in an
official release announcing the event. West Africa’s
leading technology business magazine in French and English
languages IT Edge is a media partner. IT Edge will be
bringing its media presence to bear on the event within
the ECOWAS region.
